Job Description

This position is responsible to calculate consumptions of all relevant raw material and accessories to be used in knitted garments, capable of keeping accurate margins, wastages & risks while taking raw material consumptions in Product Development phase which can be replicate in Bulk Production. Proactive in analyzing and eliminating the MRP risks during Product Development stage and device a mechanism to avoid in Bulk Production.

• Must have strong technical knowledge of Product Development related to knitted Apparel Industry, can do thorough analyses of garment related operations and trims of complicated styling and sewing flows.

Main Responsibilities:

• Strong Knowledge of fabrics, garments and related raw material (accessories)
• Ability to check and verify garment fabric consumption during PD phase and can replicate in bulk
• Capable of accurately calculating consumption of sewing, embroidery thread and other related material at PD stage and can be followed in Bulk Production
• Ability to reduce the material cost by timely execution of fabric and trims for samples at Product Development stage.
• Keeping himself and the PD team up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments and facilitate Bulk Production
• Capable of working in ERP and other software related to Product Development.
• Confidently discuss any difficulty incurred during sample making and to approach a different methods of handling the operations at Product Development stage prior to production.
