Position summary:

The position is responsible for coordinating and executing activities related to raw material and component procurement, ensuring availability for production lines, optimizing flow of materials, managing inventory levels, and facilitating forecasting and inventory processes

Job Description:

• Responsible for planning strategies, transfer of requirements, demand management MRP and capacity planning.
• Develop a production plan for finished goods by defining inventory requirements.
• Ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs. 
• Provide production support by; addressing operational risks, cross functional communication and driving process improvements.
• Monitor and ensure accurate material schedules to get the right materials on site at the right time.
• Liaise with stakeholders on product change requests.
• Ensure strategic and operational information, reports and metrics are available to share achievement of departmental targets.
• Ensure the integrity of Bill of Materials (BoM) and inventory accuracy at all times to avoid waste and Destructions of raw materials.
