Job Description

The position exists to manage the team, provide zero fault from fabric dyeing to cutting and creates a better environment for team working and training them as well. Ensuring implementation of overall processes and procedures as per internal & external requirements WITH the objective of provision of quality dyed fabric to next process WITHIN the limits of procedures, work instructions and customer requirements.

1. Implementation of QC procedures and systems at dyeing shade check, inline inspection and final inspection / audit along with updating floor ready requirements

• Proper implementation of all the relevant procedures and system on the working section i.e. Dyed & Finished fabric quality control, inline inspection and final inspection.
• Ensuring all the pre-requisites and requirements of starting process are fulfilled along with display of all required documents, standards etc. Ensuring that all the required standards and documents are approved and available for inspection process.
• Ensuring all working requirements of inline inspection and final inspection are maintained. To arrange the trainings of supervisor.
• Ensuring all teams are well versed with the requirements and working ways for all customers and ways to follow in case of abnormal conditions.
• To maintain and continuously improve effective Quality Management System including requirements of control of non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions, document controls, risk assessment and MCPs implementation etc.

2. Continuous Monitoring of KPIs for Improvement of Product Quality

To continuously monitor the process KPIs i.e. Dyeing & Finishing quality, inline inspection and final inspection, reviewing ongoing CAPAs, reviewing critical issues with relevant teams, problem solving for improvement in KPIs and reduction in rejections. Communication of same KPIs on a frequent basis to all the relevant teams.

3. Quality and RAM Meetings, CAPAs & PDCA

To continually improve the Production Quality by initiating TL floor meetings after TLs floor meeting’s feedback via involving all relevant stake holders i.e. Production, Industrial Engineering and Machine maintenance (if required). Initiating CAPA and PDCAs where needed and communicating the same within teams, continuous follow up and improvement through effective and timely implementation of planned corrective and preventive actions.

4. Cross Functional Communication & Timely Feedback with All Concerned Departments

To ensure timely feedback and communication of results of inspections, testing, audits & quality issues to all the stakeholders for timely action and follow up.

5. Management Reporting & Special Assignments

Prepares, Ensure & submit daily, weekly & monthly reports of quality issues related to knitting quality for management review; Ensures preparation and management of all relevant documents as per Company policies.
