Job Description

• To ensure effective execution of fabric inspection, shade and shrinkage test controls as per MCP for all the directly incoming delivers.
• To ensure timely execution of fabric inspection at supplier warehouse before their dispatch.
• Validation and communication of applicable policies and test standards to all approved fabric supplier.
• Validation of test and inspection reports of all incoming fabric delivers against applicable policies and internal test standards.
• To ensure the effective grouping of incoming fabric with batch wise shade consistency for 100% batch integrity at washing and finishing
• To ensure effective allocation of fabric as per FIFO policy and shade & shrinkage grouping against PPC planning.
• To ensure effective execution of Non-conforming process for the segregation, identification & containment of rejected lots of fabric until their disposition.
• To ensure effective execution of RCA and implementation of corrective action for the resolution of identified quality issues and continual improvement.
• Documentation, communication & monitoring of FID KPI’s to FID team as per QAD quality objectives
• Documentation & monitoring of suppliers KPI’s with their ongoing monthly performance monitoring feedback communication.
• To train and calibrate the FID team for the effective implementation of test/inspection controls as per MCP.
• To make liaison with QMS team for the effective execution of applicable test protocols/expectations in FID.
• Effective documentation and maintenance of record of shade band, headers and test/inspection reports. Ensure that all measuring equipment is in good condition at all times as per their maintenance instructions.
• Effective implementation and monitoring of equipment calibration schedule to ensure the in-time re-calibration of equipment before their expiry.
• Liaison with Interloop/3rd Party accredited calibration labs for the calibration of equipment with optimum cost efficiency.
